Day 1 Day 1 — Danang Arrival • Hoi An Ancient Town – Welcome Dinner

Upon your arrival in Danang, your private guide of this Land of Heritage tour will be there to welcome you for a scenic drive to the charming town of Hoi An. Once you’ve settled into your hotel and had a chance to refresh, we’ll gather for a special Welcome Dinner. This first meal offers a delicious glimpse into the culinary soul of Hoi An, where flavors, traditions, and stories of Vietnam Heritage come alive through local specialties.

Do you know? Hoi An flourished as a bustling international silk and spice port between the 15th and 19th centuries, blending Japanese, Chinese, and European influences into its unique architecture. Merchants from Japan, China, and Europe left lasting imprints on the town’s architecture and cultural fabric, shaping what we now recognize as a true Land of Heritage. Its fate transformed in 1999 when it was designated a UNESCO World Heritage site, sparking a vibrant revival as one of a shining symbol of Vietnam Heritage. Today, the town is world-renowned for its atmospheric lantern-lit nights and its exceptional tradition of 24-hour bespoke tailoring.

It is often joked that while the Emperor may have ruled the Citadel, in a Hue household, the wife is the undisputed Empress!
