Start your day after your breakfast: by exploring Ho Chi Minh City Sightseeing with highlights of the War Remnants Museum and former Presidential Palace -Reunification Palace, understanding more once Saigon was the Capital of the South Republic of Vietnam. You conclude the day by taking pictures of the city’s French colonial architecture, stopping at the Notre Dame Cathedral and the Old Post Office. Then we drive to the Cu Chi Tunnels for a guided tour. Enjoy an included village tour with rice paper-making and paper lamp demonstrations. In the late afternoon, fly to Hoi An via Danang.

Spend the whole morning visiting the Royal Citadel with amazing architecture -the World cultural heritage site since 1993, the Imperial Museum, as well as the Mausoleum of the King’s tomb to understand more life of the Royal Kings, Thien Mu pagoda-oldest, and symbol of the city.

Spend the afternoon on a leisurely walking tour through the ancient city. Take an overnight train to Hanoi.

Special Notes: As we love to offer you the local experiences of train in Vietnam, travel like local but you can choose to fly to Hanoi( 1 hour flight) and stay at hotel in Hanoi for the night then we drive to Mai Chau for next day.

Early arrival then transfers to Mai Chau, stop to have local Breakfast then continue out into the countryside. Reach Mai Chau in the late morning and relax in the fresh air and peaceful countryside, then later in the afternoon take a free and easy trek around the area to visit some Thai minority people who call this valley home. Enjoy a home-cooked meal for lunch and dinner and sleep in a dormitory-style long house on stilts in traditional style -great local experiences!

Special Information for Homestay: We will stay at Thai Ethnic People Family’s house

It’s basic and simple with great local real-life experience for tonight’s homestay is shared accommodation, our whole group shares together in a single big room in House on Stilts. With provided separate beds with clean linen, blankets, and mosquito nets, each sleeps in one.

The homestay host also provides towers, hot water for showering, and Sandals.

Breakfast at homestay, then return to Hanoi to explore Vietnam’s charming capital. With its wide tree-lined boulevards, French colonial architecture, peaceful lakes, and ancient oriental pagodas, Hanoi is an eclectic mix that offers something for everyone.

Checking in some of the most famous highlights: the Ho Chi Minh Complex (Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum and stilt house), the Presidential Palace, the nearby One Pillar Pagoda; the Temple of Literature; West Lake including the sedate Tran Quoc Pagoda & Quan Thanh Temple; and one of the city’s museums (a choice between the History Museum and the Ethnology Museum).

In the evening, free walking through the Old Quarter and take in the beautiful sites.

Arrive at the dock around noon and board your junk while sailing out into the mystical bay, relax on a traditional junk boat cruise around amazing Halong Bay, a natural wonderland composed of jutting limestone islands and sparkling turquoise waters. And indulge in an included seafood lunch. In the afternoon, cruise around some of Halong’s many islands, including Dinh Huong and Ga Choi. Stop at an island covered with a sheltered white-sand beach and take a dip in the warm waters of the Gulf of Tonkin (weather permitting). Marvel at the limestone karts of Halong Bay on an included adventure of kayaking, paddling through the beautiful lagoons, crystal water, and limestone islets. Pass the night on your junk, lulled to sleep by the gentle rocking of calm waters.
