THE NEW ADVENTURE TOUR IN QUANG BINH WITH OZO CAVE

After arriving at the airport and getting my check-in at the hotel done, I spent time meeting my fellows. Then, we decided to chill and relax together at the pool. Afterwards, when the dawn had been coming, we went downtown to discover more about the town. Quang Binh is not a big city, but always brings me a peaceful vibe of the setting and natural beauty. Also, I always have a strong national vibe once coming here since this is the hometown of General Vo Nguyen Giap – our beloved national hero.

Waking up with the stunning view, we were ready to be onboard. This was the second day, and we were heading to Ozo Cave. Taking a bus, we went along the road filled with full of peaceful evergreen padding fields. Before reaching the final destination – Phong Nha National Park, we stopped to visit and honour the eight Ladies in the Martyrs Cave through their Memorial Monuments. Such an emotional moment, and each time of visiting the historical attractions, my love and pride towards my country have grown up more inside my heart.

Finally, we arrived at the gate of the cave. Listen to me, here are the tips. Prepare yourself and get ready with sandals, do not forget to bring torches and gloves with you. As you can see from the list, these are essential to ensure you a good adventure inside the cave.

Exploring the cave

When trekking up and down through the primitive forest and then entering the cave, I felt like I was in the movie Indiana Jones, going to the mysterious land and doing the missions. Talking briefly about Ozo, this cave used to be an underground river, and the transformation and crystallization of the water and stone inside the cave made the fantastic and stunning stalactites and stalagmites. Then, I decided to call myself a real Cave Explorer because to discover the depth of the cave, I had to swim and sometimes crawl under the beautiful ceilings. Then, after, being quite tired, we stopped to have some local food for our lunch.

Generally, they said, to reach paradise you have to go through the challenges, after a full day of adventure for a great night camp with the warm-heart fireplace and fresh swimming to prepare for the next interesting day awaiting ahead.

After the fresh morning, we packed and were ready to hike up to the main road. Today, we headed to Hoan My Cave with a short drive. After getting to the point, we gathered together and hiked for two hours through the tropical forest full of deep-rooted trees and partly through the banana tree field to Hoan My Cave.

To be honest, I cannot count exactly how many times I have to say “Wow” during the day. How a beautiful and gorgeous place like this can exist on this planet! I was speechless and lost for words for a moment. To me, Hoan My Cave is one of the most stunning caves I have ever seen in my life. We saw the classical with the colour of old moss. Furthermore, I have to tell you that, the more we went deep into the cave, the more marvellous and allure the cave became. We were so attached to the beautiful gift from mother Nature. Above all, I can say that this is truly a masterpiece of natural design that no sculptor can recreate it.

So, what I can say about my fantastic three days in Quang Binh? Everyone, yes, yes, yes, you HAVE TO visit this cave to capture all the beauties of these two caves.
