Vietnam Reunification Day 2025 — 50th Anniversary Celebration!

The 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) is a national celebration organized by the Party Central Committee, the National Assembly, the President, the Government, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Ho Chi Minh City.

The program will take place from 6:30 a.m. on April 30, 2025 on Le Duan Street and some central routes. The program will be broadcast live on channels of Vietnam Television, Voice of Vietnam and local radio and television stations.
In addition to broadcasting live on channels: VOV1, VOV2, VOV3, VOV Giao thong quoc na, Voice of Vietnam Electronic Newspaper (VOV.VN), VTC News Electronic Newspaper, Voice of Vietnam will also broadcast live on the Station's digital platforms.
The celebration includes the following parts: Art program, Flag salute ceremony, speeches by Party and State leaders, speeches by representatives of Veterans, representatives of the young generation of Vietnam, parade program, and ends with the pigeon release ceremony.
The parade is scheduled to start at 8am from Le Duan Street, in front of Thong Nhat Hall. The groups will then split into four directions and head to the assembly points.

Along with that, the Vietnam Air Force will have an impressive performance such as raising the flag, fighter jets doing aerobatics in the sky.
Ho Chi Minh City installed 21 LED screens for people to easily follow. In addition, Metro Line 1 also increased trips and operating hours to serve people on the occasion of April 30, specifically the train will operate from 4:30 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Ho Chi Minh City Police said that they will close the road, restrict people and vehicles in some central areas to serve the celebration from 3 a.m. to 12 p.m. on April 30.
The road ban applies to all people and vehicles, cars, motorbikes, ... (except for forces and vehicles with badges and badges directly performing the task of ensuring security, order, and traffic safety for the Celebration program).
