Day 1Hanoi arrival - walking tour

 

Arrival in Noi Bai airport, you will be picked up then transferred to the hotel and refresh. Then do a 1.5 hour walking tour on the hustle and bustle Old Quarter, you will have a deeper insight of local daily life.
We then head to Ngoc Son Temple set on a tiny island in the middle of Hoan Kiem Lake. Ngoc Son Temple dates back to the 13th century, and the lake itself is the picturesque heart of Hanoi, frequented by tourists and locals alike. Try local Beer –Bia Hoi to observe local ORGANIZED CHAOS traffic
The Hanoi Old Quarter.
Hanoi is famoust for two places, The Old Quarter and French Quarter, for warndering around to obseve the real local life and unique architecture with full of secret places & wonderful stories dating back over 2.000 years since Thang Long Hanoi was established in 1010.
With 36 named Hang Streets is a promising destination for any curious tourist, you will see the name Hang based on what they used to seel there with the same name as before but now it has been changed, no sidewalk, people travel around everywhere … just follow the local to cross the streets. In the course of this tour (more or less 1h30), the traveler will see North specialties as the Pho soup, Vietnamese desserts (che) & the local ale (Bia). Above all, a wide vision of handicraft shops, traditional works and all kinds of stuff in the old houses of 2 or three floors.

Day 2Hanoi city Tour

Today you will explore Vietnam’s charming capital. With its wide tree-lined boulevards, French colonial architecture, peaceful lakes, and ancient oriental pagodas, Hanoi is an eclectic mix that offers something for everyone. Your city tour will take you to Hanoi’s key sites: the Ho Chi Minh Complex (Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum and stilt house), the nearby One Pillar Pagoda; the Presidential Palace; the Temple of Literature; the Quan Thanh Temple, the sedate Tran Quoc Pagoda & West Lake; and one of the city’s museums (a choice between the History Museum and the Ethnology Museum).
In the late afternoon, you will hop on a cyclo, one of the most typical vehicles in Hanoi which is a human-powered transport with a seat at the front for passengers and the driver at the back. With this hour leisurely ride, which is the perfect chance for photos and slow-moving sightseeing, you will have a great chance to have the local closer touch, ending at the Water Puppet Theater to watch the Show about daily Vietnamese in the countryside that used to be performed in Lakes or Ponds in the traditional villages

Day 3Hanoi - Muong Lo - Tu Le (B)

After Breakfast, we drive to the outskirt then on road No. 32 from Hanoi along the Red River to Yen Bai Province. The scenery along the way is simply beautiful with orchards of bananas, papayas, and rice fields where you see the local farmers set up stalls all along the road to sell their seasonal produce to passengers. After lunch in a local restaurant in Thu Cuc, an area known for its
tea culture, you will meet and visit a local family to discover several varieties of tea in Vietnam. Young tea leaves will be picked and dried in the traditional way by yourself. Crossing Yen Bai City, we enter the mountainous areas o hills covered with green tea terraces all along the way. Finally, we reach Muong Lo Valley, the town of Nghia Lo, the second largest rice field in Northwest Vietnam and also the homeland of Thai ethnic people. Thai people first came
here grew rice and built their traditional wooden house of iron and bamboo around 700 years ago. Take a short walk of 2 hours around the village to discover Thai ethnic culture and daily life in the villages then check into your hotel

Day 4Tu Le – Mu Cang Chai (B, D)

After breakfast, we do an easy hike. You walk through rice terraces to reach Thai and Hmong villages where people still dress in traditional costumes and Hmong women sit by their loom. Tu Le is a small hill tribe town surrounded by picturesque landscapes and full of warmhearted people living in small wooden houses nestled at the foot of the mountains. Leaving Tu Le, you cross Khau Pha Pass (1550m).
Dominating the entire area of La Pan Tan for a hundred years, the Mong still keep their morals and customs very well.
Being always in traditional clothing, speaking their language, and refusing the invasion of modern life, they cultivate maize in plots of land embedded between the rocks, grow vegetables, and especially rice in terraced rice fields. A new way will take you to the heart of the village where you can discover Mong culture, meet with villagers, a great opportunity for photo shoots.

Mu Cang Chai and its famous flooded paddy fields are a must-see for any traveler visiting Vietnam. Staying in a homestay requires sometimes more than rudimentary comfort and is often located in touristic spots.
Mu Cang Chai Ecolodge was developed to solve those inconveniences. Indeed, it was built to satisfy demanding travelers who want comfortable rooms with a magnificent view (in the heart of the rice fields), without tourists… Each room is decorated with a unique style, the location is ideal for hiking around, and above all, built in an exceptional site at the top of the hill with a perfect panoramic view.

Day 5Mu Cang Chai - Sapa (B, L)

After breakfast, we walk around to visit the villages, enjoying the fresh air. After lunch in the resort, we head up the North for 5 hours driving to Sapa. The road begins to climb up Tram Ton Pass, the highest pass in Vietnam at 2047 meters above sea level. Stop for photo opportunities and enjoy the fresh air. From here, you can see Fanxipan Mountain, “the Roof of Indochina” with ist 3143m peak soaked in clouds. Arrive in Sapa at noon. Have rest and lunch at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, we will hike downhill to Cat Cat village, enjoy spectacular landscape and scenery along the road, reaching down a waterfall and a French hydroelectric station, we will
take a short rest before continuing our trek on a dirt trail through rice paddy terraced fields. The area is sometimes covered by rainforests under the protection of Hoang Lien National Park.

Day 6Sapa - Lao Chai - Ta Van (B,L, D)

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, before setting out on a full day’s trek to explore Sapa’s cultural diversity and haunting natural beauty.

Please pack what you need just for one night, take a guided hike through yawning valleys decorated with incredibly beautiful terraced rice fields and pass through remote hill tribe villages.

You have three trekking options to choose from Soft trek (~ 3 km), medium trek (~ 6km), and long trek (~ 12km). Trekking is an excellent way to explore daily life and familiarize yourself with the cultures of the Hmong, Dzao, and Dzay people who populate the region.

Have a picnic lunch at a hill tribe village then keep hiking to our homestay family!

It’s basic and simple with great local real-life experience for tonight’s homestay is shared accommodation, our whole group shares together in a single big room in House on Stilts. With provided separate beds with clean linen, blankets, and mosquito nets, each sleeps in one.

The homestay host also provides towers, hot water for showering, and Sandals.

Day 7Sapa – Da Bac (B ,D)

After breakfast, say goodbye to the host family and walk to a nearby village where we board a bus to take us back to Sapa, grab some food for lunch then enjoy driving down with a great way to see the beautiful and peaceful countryside on the way to Da Bac to Sung village where there are about 70 families living at Sung Village and the majority are Dzao people. Farming and forest plantation are their main source of income.

Arrive at your homestay then take an introductory walk around the village. After getting to know the village better, take a short trek (2 kilometers) to the alluring Sung Cave and visit a 100-year-old tea plantation. The trek has some steep and slippery sections so please ensure you have suitable footwear for this activity. Have a look at a handicraft workshop, back to your homestay accommodation for a nice hot shower, and enjoy a delicious dinner.

Day 8Da Bac –Ninh Binh (B)

After breakfast, bid farewell to the host then enjoys a 10-kilometer (6.2 mi) trek from Sung Village to Da Bia. The first 8km of the trek is mostly flat ground along well-worn buffalo tracks. The final 2km gradually inclines and for a period of approximately 300m, there are some steps to climb, however, the walk will be a steady relaxed pace. Stop to meet people from the ethnic Muong tribe along the way. Stop for lunch at Da Bia before enjoying a scenic 1.5-hour boat cruise on the Hoa Binh hydropower reservoir. Arrive at Thung Nai then board a bus transfer to Ninh Binh

Day 9Ninh Binh – Cat BA (B)

After breakfast, we will drive to visit Trang An also known as «Halong Bay on Land ». On the way, you will pass some of the most picturesque scenery in Vietnam, go through the caves and stop to visit pagodas and temples along the way taking photos of the outstanding karst waterscape with beautiful stalactites and stalagmites of all sizes shaped like gemstones.
Row back to the harbor then we drive to Mua Cave, climb up the top for a fantastic view of rivers, and mountains…. Have lunch on your own at a restaurant. After that, we drive to Cat Ba Archipelago National park for overnight

Day 10Cat Ba- Lan Ha Cruise (B,L,D)

After breakfast, we drive to the harbor board your cruise boat and check in your room. We are cruising through the dream-like seascapes of Lan Ha Bay on a junk ship- one of the most stunning peaceful Bay in the world where you do Kayaking to discover the Karst limestone Islets, lagoons …, stop on white-sand beaches for swimming.

Have lunch on Board, chill, and do more kayaking. Enjoy the moment of sunset and the sound of the breeze and sea.

Have dinner on the boat, and relax on the Deck.

Day 11Lan Ha Bay - Halong Bay – Fly to Danang - Hoian

Breakfast on a Boat like a mobile hotel, we keep cruising closer to National Park with fantastic Islands – part of National park with an area of over 15,000 hectares, we do great biking to Viet Hai Village for sightseeing and learn more about local life then back to the boat to have lunch. Back to the Harbor then we drive to the airport for a flight to Danang then Hoian.

Day 12Hoian Walking Tour – Easy Rider Biking (B)

You Enjoy your time for relaxation as you immerse yourself in the tranquility and charm of this sleepy riverside town. From the 15th to 18th centuries Hoi An was a thriving international port frequented by Chinese, Dutch, French, Japanese, Portuguese, and Arab traders …
your leader will take you on a sightseeing walk through the Old Town to visit the highlights of the city’s major attractions.

Later, enjoy free time to shop-amazing places for Tailor-made clothes, Silver, Sunglasses … or Massage or explore the town or relax on Cua Dai or An Bang Beach.

In the afternoon dress up to be ready for the Easy Rider tour, we cycle from Hotel to Countryside in Hoian with local men, visit Vegetable Villages, farm as Locals, talk with people, continuing biking to see Buffalo and Ridding on Water Buffalo, visiting in Coconut farm with round Bamboo Basket boat, lots of fun. After that, we keep cycling to take a river cruise back to the Ancient town.

Day 13Hoian – Hue - Top gear Tour with highlights (B,L)

After breakfast, we drive to Hue through the Scenic Hai Van Pass, check in at your hotel then Have vegetarian lunch served by a monk at a local pagoda.

After lunch, we spend an entire afternoon touring Vietnam’s former ancient capital with a Top Gear tour with a motorbike tour just relaxing sitting on the backside of a Motorbike driver to enjoy peaceful Hue countryside with the local markets, conical hat, and Incense Making villages, Tiger Arena, Romantic View hill down to Perfume river, visiting one of king tomb, Imperial Citadel, home to the Imperial City and Forbidden Purple City. The Imperial City was created in the 19th century and modeled on the Forbidden City in Beijing. The Imperial Enclosure houses many palaces and temples within its walls. Day 14Hue - Fly to Saigon – Cu Chi Tunel

Have breakfast at the hotel then drive to the airport to take your flight to Vietnam’s biggest commercial hub: Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City). Upon arrival, you travel outside of Saigon to visit the Cu Chi Tunnels. The Cu Chi Tunnels are an underground labyrinth of passageways, used by the Viet Cong during the Vietnam War as protection against American air raids. Those inclined are invited to crawl through selections of the tunnels to better understand what life was like for the Vietnamese soldiers during wartime.

Enjoy the rest of Ho Chi Minh City’s bustling streets en route to the hotel. Have lunch at a downtown restaurant on your ơn then set out on a guided city tour. In the afternoon, ưe drive to Saigon, check in your hotel then walk to visit Notre Dame Cathedral, the City Post Office, and Ben Thanh Market. the day at your leisure.

Day 15Sai Gon – Mekong Delta-Saigon (B)

Today you leave Saigon and travel to the Mekong River Delta. Enjoy an early breakfast at the hotel before driving to the riverside town passing a green rice field, boarding a private boat cruise on the Mekong River, visiting a tropical fruit garden with Traditional Music, a coconut candy factory Bee farm, rowing boat, … lunch on one of the islands with great local food.

PM: Take Motor Cart – Great Fun Fun. Your driver will meet you at Vinh Long pier the n we drive back to Saigon for your last night in Vietnam or you may extend your stay to discover more Saigon.

Cancellations

Cancellations will be charged as follows:

  • More than 60 days before arrival: no cancellation charge
  • 14-60 days before arrival: 10% of the price
  • 5-13 days before arrival: 50% of the price
  • Less than 5 days before arrival: 100 % of the price

Cancellation of Extra Services

  • For additional hotel nights and other extra services booked in connection with tour programmes, cancellations will be charged as follows:
  • More than 30 days prior to the service will be refunded in full
  • 15 – 30 days in advance: 50% of the price;
