April 30, 1975-2022 Reunification Day -Victory Day or Liberation Day, this year Vietnam celebrates the 47th anniversary of Reunification Day.
This is the most important historical, political or cultural that Vietnam not only celebrates the liberation of the South but a day when Vietnam’s two major regions (the North and the South) were reunited together under one government- ONE VIETNAM.

April 30th, 1975 is the day that marks the fall of the Saigon government, ending the Vietnam War and leading to the liberation of Vietnam’s southern part. Every year since the country celebrates this day as a commemoration of the reunification between the Democratic Republic of Vietnam in the North and the Republic of Vietnam in the South into the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

Considering the significance in meaning and the length of the holiday, Vietnamese families will often plan trips to travel as the 2022 New Year’s Day falls on Saturday, and people will be given another day off the next Monday.
This means laborers will have a three-day holiday for the 2022 New Year, lasting from January 1 to 3-huge groups or crowds of people traveling around amazing beautiful Vietnam!
