Hanoi City Tour (Day trip) –AVT10



Hanoi, capital City of Vietnam, was set up in 1010  called Thang Long-Ascending Dragon with its unique blend of oriental lifestyle,Old Quarter and  French colonial Quarter architecture, tree-lined boulevards and 18 peaceful lakes. Still retaining a charming air from its colonial days, visitors are often impressed with the quietness and subtle beauty of Hanoi.

Full Itinerary:

After breakfast you are picked up from your hotel and start the city tour with a visit to Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Complex as the Soviet-style Ba Dinh Square where Ho Chi Minh read out the declaration of the nation’s independence in 2nd September 1945. Then we walk through the gardens of the Presidential Palace before seeing “Uncle Ho’s” houses where he lived for the last ten years of his life. So we understand more his life

After that We visit the museum dedicated to Ho Chi Minh before passing through his Mausoleum
Note: Mausoleum is just open in the morning ,closed on Monday and Friday and whole October and November
We will then continue to the One Pillar Pagoda and the 900-year old Temple of Literature, the principal Vietnamese Confucian sanctuary, and its historical centre of learning. Made up of five courtyards, this is one of the few remnants of the original city..
We also Visit the Buddhist Tran Quoc Pagoda on West Lake (one of the oldest in Vietnam) built in 6th century
Lunch will be served at a local restaurant

After lunch we drive through French quater to The Temple Of Literature. Vietnam’s first university constructed in 1070, it’s gardens and well-preserved architecture offers a relaxing glimpse into Vietnam’s past.

In the afternoon the Army, History, Hanoi Hilton or Ethnology Museum? Your choice on which one to visit. Alternatively do some shopping in Hanoi’s gift shops or visiting your art gallery in town.

Following is a Cyclo ride around Hanoi’s old quarter, hustle and bustle with narrow streets and skinny houses, just relaxing as you weave through the narrow alleys of Hanoi s ancient Old Quarter, glimpsing Hanoi s everyday life. We will take you past Hoan Kiem Lake, see the peaceful waters, at the northern end stop and visit Ngoc Son Temple,
